NetWork Connections & Kernel32.dll Error

Hi All
On my AMD 1.4GHZ
Windows XP Professional machine I am getting the following errors. Can anyone help as I am stumped? Thx

I am trying to create a new dial up connection. What I am doing and getting is shown below.

Open Control Panel
Network Connections
New Connection Wizard

Error
Kernel32.dll
App Version 6.0.2600.0
ModName Kernel32.dll
ModVer 5.1.2600.0

Offset 0019a9e

Also when trying to create a new connection via Internet Explorer, in the connections tab... I get the following

Error
Netshell.dll Error

Exception Information Code: 0xc0000005

I have replaced the Kernel32.dll file from the original CD but the errors still appear. Has anyone got any ideas?

Try this:

In the run dialog type "sfc.exe /scannow". This will check and repair any damaged/missing files that might cause the problem.

Other than than that, i'm stumped too!

Does it happen as soon as you click "Creat a new connection"
or happen during the wizard part?
