weird,help please!!!!!!!!!!

I fix the system32 exe. problem,but I still can not find my C:\WINDOWS folder,even I use the SEARCH function,but my OS still works,why?
How can i find it back?

Are you logged on as administrator? Have you unhidden the files? Windows system files in xp are hidden by default.

To do this go to 'folder options' in control panel and pick 'view'. Make sure 'show hidden folders' is checked.
