Nero Problems With Xp

I have just installed the latest drivers for the hp 8220e external usb drive for WIN XP downloaded directly from www.HP.com . I then installed Nero 5.5.8.2 and when I go and check on "select burner" it will show my burner being present in the list, but will only see speeds at 1times (max 4) and any media I insert in the drive, nero will show me 0mb space. I also tryed recently to install the latest version from the nero site 5.9.9.14 and that wont even recognize my burner as being present.

I tryed to download both the WNASPI32.DLL and the CDROM.CFG files from the nero, witht the result of my burner disappearing from the "select burner" option. I also tryed uninstalling all other burning software and got the same result.
I do see the HP8200e drive as being supported, and know that it works as I was using it with my previous WINDOWS ME PC.
Please let me know what I can do to solve this problem

I solved the problem, I neede to install an older verison of WINASPI32.dll for nero version 3.5.5 or older....
