Arrow IE dosn't run JavaScript

One week ago my IE 6.0.. (WinXpSp1) started to ignore all JavaScript instructions. I've checked all settings and anywhere JavaScript is enabled, but it doesn't work. Also all information (version , etc.) from'about' window has been vanished.
What should i do to fix this problem?

you may want to go to sun microsystems and download the full java package. I can't tell you exactly what may have happened, but it is possible that since microsoft is no longer permitted to include java decoding in their browsers that when you did an update, it may have removed the factory java decoding. Java from sun (the origional developers) works fine, however, I will warn you that if you are anemic on RAM, this may hinder as well as help you as it will run in your system tray, icon is like a cup of coffee......

You may also be able to download "Microsoft Virtual Machine" off of some remote, out-dated sites. Install this.. and it will patch IE.. thus fixing your problem.

Although you can still find MSJava at a variety of sites, Microsoft is trying to get people used to the idea of using an alternate Java (Sun Microsystems). They released this "transitioning" page a few months ago.

"Transitioning from the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine"
