XP Home - Logoff vs Fast-User Switching
I'm looking for a way to disable fast-user switching (I need the "normal" logon screen not the welcoem screen) with one programme running constantly in one of the accounts.
It's for an internet radio station. The "STUDIO" account is used for streaming the audio out over the net, and each person in the station has their own XP account. However, this clutters the welcome screen up and no-one can find their login quickly (this is especially bad during show-changes where we only get 3 minutes during the news to logoff, logon and load up the appropriate programs).
However, when the welcome screen is disabled, when you try to logoff the STUDIO account, it needs to shut-down the streaming program, meaning our stream is cut out.
Is there a way to configure XP to the normal logon screen without needing to shut down programs currently open in other accounts?
TIA, Stuart.
