Need Help with a USB device

Hi I recently purchased a saitek st90 joystick and am having trouble with it connecting via usb. When I connect it to anyone of the two front or the two back ports on the main unit it works fine. However, I also have four ports on my TFT monitor and would like to use them. When i plug it in to anyone of them, nothing happens, xp does not install drivers and refuses to aknowledge it is connected. Here is a list of my usb devices if it helps as they appear on device manager:

SiS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller
SiS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller
SiS 7001 PCI to USB Open Host Controller
SiS 7002 USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller
USB 2.0 Root Hub
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub
USB Root Hub

Please help if you can,

Kurtis.

Sounds like an external usb hub in the monitor. Have you run a usb cable - monitor - computer?
