Saving Photos Using R-Click/Save As

Hi all,

Whenever I try to save photos in Internet Explorer, Windows always saves it as a .bmp rather than the file's normal extension. For example, I cannot save a .gif as a .gif or a .jpg as a .jpg. If I try and change the file extension, Windows will give me an error saying that the file is corrupt. Is there any way I can change this? TIA!

This is a pretty common problem. Clearing temporary internet files and history usally sets it right. Here is more info.
