Need Pop-Up WARNER, not blocker...
Does anyone know of an application that will simply WARN YOU of a site trying to pop-up a new window, not one that will just auto-kill them??
I used to use NeoPlanet, and in an earlier version of that broswer, they had a feature that would simply pop up a little box that would say "The site you are viewing is attempting to pop-up a new window. Do you want to view it (Y/N)"? Then you could hit "Yes" if you wanted the popup, and "No" if you wanted the popup function killed.
This worked great for sites that I visit that DO have a pop-up scheme to display windows, and was also great for killing unwanted popups, because I never needed to create or maintain a "popup blacklist" for those sites I did/did NOT want to see popups from- all I had to do was hit a Yes or No button.
Well, Neoplanet is so buggy at this point I never use it any more, and so far, every "pop up killer" application I've tried has worked FAIRLY well at auto-killing popups with a blacklist, but NONE of them had a simple setting of "Allow popup after warning", like I want.
Can anyone recomend an app that will do this???
