Autocompletely buggin' me.

I'm being prompted continually, (almost), but annoyingly often with the popup-type box which asks me if I wish to turn Autocomplete on.
I've disabled it, every way I know how..the usual uncheck boxes, clear passwords/forms etc., but I'm being asked alot if I want to turn it back on!!!
Anyone have any good ideas as to why, and maybe have a fix for me?? It's really getting on my nerves...I do go to alot of the same sites on a daily basis, and do enter alot of similar information, however I don't want to turn it back on.

You need to tell us what you have done to turn Autocomplete off.

When we know what you have done we can look for other methods otherwise we could spend days going over the same things.

Okay, here goes, and thanks for the reply.
I right clicked on IE, accessing Internet Properties.
Under the content tab, I clicked the box Autocomplete.
I unchecked all the boxes which say:
Web addresses
Forms
Passwords on Forms
I additionally cleared the history of those same items by hitting the two buttons under those checkboxes.
The only problem lies in my being prompted to turn autocomplete back on.
It could be the OS just "being helpful" but I'm almost ready to do some registry editing to make it quit prompting me to do what I obviously do not...
