can't see my IIS in XP

Initially I see it in Start>Programs>Administrative Tool but after I uninstall and install again, I couldn't see it anymore. When I go to control panel>Add/Remove Program>Add/Remove window component, I see that IIS is checked but how come I can't see it.

Try right-click on My Computer, choose Management(or Govern),
choose Service and Application. If you have installed IIS, you should be able to see it there.
Sorry, if the Command Options mentioned above are translated wrong. That is because I am using Chinese version instead of English one of Windows XP. Try to choose the Options with the same meaning.
Good luck.

If you cannot see Internet Information Services(IIS) under Services and Applications, that means you didn't successfully install the requird softwares for IIS.
Go to Control panel>Add/Remove Program>Add/Remove window component. Check IIS again, then click on Details and check all the components there. Try to reinstall IIS again, which will require you to insert the Windows XP CD in the Cd-Rom drive.
I think that will do the trick. However, you have to make sure that you have updated Windows XP to Service Pack 1(SP1) "AGAIN" after you installed the necessary IIS components, because non-updated IIS has many loopholes which might result in virus infection or attack.

Good luck.
