Keeps Freezing
I recently formatted my computer and installed Windows XP Professional. So far i don't have any anti virus installed...
the problem is that it keeps freezing, whether I am connected to the internet or not.
When disk check is being run at the beginning, i usually get a message saying that "The first allocation unit was not valid. The entry will be truncated" and some messages about cross-linked files etc. The file system is FAT 32 if that is any help...
I didn't have any problems when i had windows millenium previously, and they only occured after i formatted and installed windows xp....any solutions? Thanx.
