Windows XP - Timer shuts computer down
Yesterday, my dad came in and started deleting shit on his computer, like files and folders he didn't remember being there... LMFAO! Anyway, his computer would boot up all the way to right before the Windows XP Home Edition screen with the little green zingy thing. Well, I reinstalled XP for him and everything seemed okay... until his computer started having problems and saying something to the effect of 'please save all work, yada yada yada. Windows will be restarted, yada yada yada... initiated by NT AUTHORITY/SYSTEM'. It gives him 60 seconds to save all data, then restarts. He also gets another message that sounds strange, I don't remember exactly what it says, so I'll post it later.
Anyway, does anyone know what is forcing his computer to restart?
