Thumbs up Hi

Hi..Hey..Just needed to say that..What a great website..I have Windows XP SP 1..I love it..I have used most of the Windows at one time or another..I liked Windows 95 better than 98..98 better than ME, and like XP better than them all...What I like about SP 1 is that I can disable Internet Explorer. Or any other microsoft program. I personally didn't like msn messager to much. I tried using MSN browser , and I swear, has to be about the slowest thing I have ever seen. Didn't have the patience for that. But than again, I live in the sticks where you have to have sunshine pumped to you. So dial up is the best we have..
I use netscape 7 and I love it. Once in awhile tho, I run into a problem , like with propel, I had to use internet explorer before they reconized I had a subcription to it, but once they reconized it, I went back and disabled it again.

And I still like Windows 2000 better than XP, and Mandrake better than Windows 2K. But what I really am responding to this post to say is, if you like Netscape, perhaps you should try out Mozilla. http://www.mozilla.org Netscape is based on Mozilla and feels the same, but most people, including me, find that Mozilla runs better. Its also very customizable. Worth looking into for any Netscape user.

Smile Thanks

Thanks for the information..Heard about it (Mozilla) and was going to get it, but never did..
I heard quite a few people say they liked 2000, but I never tried that one.
My new computer came with Windows Me, and I didn't care for that at all..Seemed like it was always freezing..Or I would get a low on memory message...grrr....Upgraded to Windows XP, and do the same things I did in Windows ME..It hasn't froze up yet, and no low on memory..

I think XP could have been great, but in my views it still fell short on the mark. It has too many problems and errors, sometimes all I want to do is shut it down but now I can't do that, it has developed a shutdown error all on its own. Win2k is the best, it's very reliable and suits all sorts of PC users, and as for ME, don't even go there. It sucks bigtime, it always crashed on me.
