XP install error?

Hi folks

After a clean install, when windows boots for the first time I get a STOP:c0000135 (unable to locate Dll)
but it makes no reference to a specific .dll that is missing only a suggestion re-installing may correct this.
When I re-install same problem. Help? Thanks

by doing a search on google for the error, this is what came up

good place for any error messages is GOOGLE !!!!

Thanks for reply,

I have seen this page through my own search and some
others but they all work from that premise that you have had
a good install and somehow it became corrupted. I am trying to
do an original install and the error occurs during setup so it is
not possible to copy files from an alternate install.
