Reinstalling on another PC

I currently have XP Home on my desktop, but recently purchased a copy of XP Professional. I now want to put the new XP Professional on my desktop and put the XP Home on my laptop.

I do have two licenses (Home, Pro), but have heard I may have to unregister/re-register.

I was wondering if anyone had been through this process and could point me in the right direction?

as long as XP licenses then Microsoft would not care if you have it installed ona Laptop or the desktop so you can install it where you wish, however, you have to re-register it on line,, since it is a liggal copy the I don't see any problem with it.
