HP System Recovery Disk Windows ME

I own an HP Pavilion 8755c that came with two system recovery disks for Windows ME. One of the disks has been physically damanaged and will not properly load. I am desperate to find a replacement disk - to buy or borrow. HP no longer sells the disks and without the disk my computer is a boat anchor. Can any kind soul help?

i serviced hp computers for over three years, have many copies of the recovery disk, that model i do not have, they will not run on yours. have you thought about buying a copy of xp, should install all the drivers for that model, will just need to download a keyboard driver from hp, if you still use the orriginal.

I also need the recovery software for an older HP system. I have a Pavillion 8860. The original disks were destroyed in a car wreck while moving last year.
