Question Reformatted with XP Partition. Default install directory?

I just reformatted my computer using a few partitions, hoping to not have to reformat like this ever again really. I created 3 partitions, one for XP installation(D:), one for my mom and brother(C:)(neither of them know how to change installation directories), and one for myself(S:). I made C: for my mom and brother thinking it would automatically try to install everything there, but, it turns out I was wrong, as it tries to install eveything to D: drive(The one XP is on). My question is this: Is there any way to change the default installation disk from drive D: to drive C:?

Thanks,

Sloan

Navigate to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion
2. Find ProgramFilesDir whose default should be C:\Program Files
3. Change this to whatever directory you wish. I changed it to D:\Program Files for example.

Remember you have to reboot for your changes to show.

Oh yah, one more question, should I transfer all of the program files already installed in the other drive?
