Changing IP's on a non DHCP network

hello y'all

I have a very very funky situation at my work, i have static ip's all over the place (high sec) - and now and again i get big headaches - ips decide to change them selves in addition so do gateways and dns addresses.

I have a DHCP DSL router ON the network but not ACTIVATED - i have triple cheked this.

I find that the printers are the most suceptible to having their IP's changed.
Printers = HP 1200n

This sounded like a virus to me or some sort of time executed code so i did the most intensive virus scan of the entire location. Found nothing.

Anyone know what this sounds like or what it could be?

Thanks everyone
