real player is my default web browser (upset about that)

where in windows xp pro do i go to set my default browser? i clicking on hyperlinks and a real player window opens. thanks in advance.

if you have service pck 1 installed(or sp2) go to start, all programs, at the top of the list find set program access and defaults, set it to what you want it to be. also can find it in add remove programs

i tried that numerous times, and it didn't work for me. is it a real player issue then?

i looked around, didnt see any support articles for this. just from best guess i would say try going to start, run, type
msconfig
go to the startup tab,disable all the real player's start up items, reboot the try to set (i assume) ie back to default. also have you tried a spyware scanner? see if anything is jacking your system?
