New problem with MS mouse and scroll

My problem is that when I scroll down any webpage using the
scroll wheel on my new Microsoft Wireless Scroll Tilt mouse and XP Pro... then, when I scroll back towards the top, when
it gets to the top of the screen it either automatically jumps
back to the previous webpage - or it does something like a "refresh" on the page - without me pressing a single button!!!... I'm not crazy... its really happening! I tried all kinds of different mouse drivers, MS and Logitech.... I can't get it to stop. I've never seen anything like this... can anyone help? Might the mouse be defective and sending out a BACK command or something? I don't think so, though... I think this is software. This never happened with my Logitech mouse.

This is a setting with your mouse. You need to open up the program that came with the mouse and set the user controls to your liking.
