Corrupted package or big problem downloading

I'm having a problem with my downloads. If I download a
program with IE or Kazaa the installation program is
corrupted 99% of the time. I tried a virus scan, doesn't
work. I defrag all my partitition, I run WindowsDoctor, I
reinstall windows without installing anything else but I
still have this problem. I also try to install SP1 and I
can't install it neither if I download it on my desktop.
What can I do?

I'm using Windows XP Pro
AMD Athlon 1.4ghz
Geforce 3
512mb Ram
D-Link Sys Network card

Are you using a 'Legal' copy of XP PRO?

Still have big problems

Yeah I use a legal version of Xp Pro. I just reinstall all from nothing and I still have this problem... I don't know what to do, maybe a conflict with another software but I can't find wich one... I notice something strange in the installation of XP some drivers aren't compatible even if they come from the XP cd, and I try to install the drivers for XP for my Itouch Keyboard and my sound card, a Sound Blaster Live! Value, and the drivers are incompatible with XP even if I download the good one. I don't know what to do, I think I should reinstall Win98SE but I don't want to lose all my works because my hard disk is formatted in NTFS format.

Sounds like a hardware problem.

If you wiped your system, and only have XP in; and you still have issues that is usually hardware.

Your RAM may be corrupting the files.

What errors are you getting?

Its not the drivers from the XP disk that are not compatible, its the hardware.

Well I got several problems...
Windows Xp installation doesn't find some system files. The one it oftenly doesn't find is the nikedrv.sys

For my download problems here is the message that popup after I download softwares and trying to intalling them. The software start to unpack and this popup appear : "The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of this file, verify it's integrity, and try again.

And finally the new problem.... my floppy drive doesn't recognize all of my floppy, it said i need to format it, i try to format it but it says it can't be format.

I don't know what to do and if this error have a link.
