Can't get Plus pack SP1 to work

Can ANYONE get the Windows XP Plus, Service Pack 1 to work?

I keep getting an error that it can't update a file in C:\MSCONFIG.CFG and it won't continue.
I've tried it on 3 PC's with no luck.

PLEASE tell me someone has gotten this to work.

I have got this file to work on my laptop but as yet have no luck with my PC.

I have Plus! for XP and I installed that before SP1. There is also a patch available for Plus which fixes a few things, look for the Plus homepage and there may be more info there.

That's what I meant, I'm trying to install the Service pack for PLUS for XP, and it keeps giving me an error on a file that it's writing to in the temporary directory.
