Fonts Deleting

I had some major problem today. I restarted my computer and all of the fonts were deleted. Everything was in weird code. I found all the appropriate folders and re-installed all of the fonts. The only problem is every time I install them, it works but then when I close the folder they all disappear. Meaning i install them, everything is there. I close the folder, open it back up and it is empty. Does anyone know what in the hell is wrong?
