I really wish someone can help me here, 'cause I have pretty much come to my wits end- after Searching on the internet and numerous forums I just can't find an answer to my problem.
I have a HP DESKJET 656C printer that refuses to INSTALL to my computer (WINDOWS XP PRO SP1) because it cannot find my USB PRINTER PORT!! It was working fine before, and then just stopped working and refused to install due to not being able to locate my USB printer port.To make matters more confusing, my USB port works for my Scanner. My Computer System is a VIA VT82c686b (south bridge) based Motherboard with 2x VIA REV 5 OR LATER USB UNIVERSAL HOST CONTROLLERS and 2x USB ROOT HUBS
