low disk space

I am running xp pro on a 700mgh pentium III. Although it is painfully slow I am happy with it so far. I have two hard drives...one 20g and one 2g. I have stored many mp3 files on the 2g drive and nearly filled it to capacity. There is an irritating message that pops up frequently in the task bar that reminds me of the "low disk space". I would like to know if/how you shut this message off. I mean, to keep it from coming up. Any help would be appreciated.

To disable low disk space checks:

1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
2. Locate and then click the following key in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\Explorer
3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
4. Type NoLowDiskSpaceChecks, and then press ENTER.
5. On the Edit menu, click Modify.
6. Type 1, and then click OK.

Found New Hardware....

First, I would like to thank ESALADUANE for his expert advice on my last problem.
I have a 700mgh Pentium III running XP-pro. Since I upgraded I have found all drivers needed to run my peripherals (printer and scanner). At bootup there is always a "found new hardware" message in the taskbar. Then it defaults to the Windows "Install new hardware" window. This printer is up and running fine. Clicking on next only causes it to say something like, "device driver not found".
(Sorry I can't quote it exactly). Anyway, I find this to be very annoying, I would like to stop it. Any help would be apprecitated.

I also need to know how to delete my last post. Thanks....
