USB 1.1 or 2.0???

How do I find out which version I have? I want to buy a hub, but don't want to buy a 2.0 if I have a 1.1 installed. Thanks.

A sincere advice for you,
Go buy a USB 2.0 hub instead of 1.1 whether you have 2.0 or 1.1 USB devices because USB 2.0 is a trend for the present and the future before any new USB interface appears.

If you want to make sure what kind of USB you have, Go to
Control Panel/System/Hardwares/Device manager/USB controller.
If you can see USB 2.0 Host Controller or "Enhanced" Host controller in there, you have 2.0. Otherwise, you only have 1.1.

B.T.W, the transfer rate of USB 1.1 is only 12Mb/per second while that of USB 2.0 is up to 480 Mb/per second.

Thanks. It says that I only have a 'General' hub. I guess I'll buy the 2.0 since it will still work with a 1.1. Thanks again.
