Office 2003 (Outlook) Security.

MSoft have implemented additional security on Office/Outlook 2003. One feature of this is that any Outlook plugin which attempts to access the Contacts file triggers an Outlook security warning that "A program is attempting to access your Contacts list....this may be a virus". You can then...(1) Grant 1-time access (2) Grant access for up to 10 mins (3) Decline access. For some plugins the only viable solution is (2) Grant access for up to 10 mins. (1) can result in multiple, sequential requests to grant access for the one application call.
I find this behaviour irritating ( I don't need the protection it affords, I am already well protected). Is there any way of turning it off ?? A Registry setting perhaps ??

were u able to find a solution to this problem? I have an application written in VB that uses outlook 2003 to send emails and each time the application accesses the outlook address book, this message pops up. I need to turn off this security feature either in outlook or programmatically in the app.

I would appreciate if you know a solution.

I did find a solution at the time, on another forum. However, I subsequently discarded the application that presented the original problem and the solution is now lost in the mists of time. Sorry.
