Strange Windows XP prob

hey guys,

I have the following prob. On my Laptop i had installed a windows XP german version. Now I needed to install the english version of XP. Because the XP Eng CD was not bootable, I installed it via Windows. The English version is now installed on my second hd partition and I dont know why ! Can somebody help me here ? The other question is how should I install it correctly, because the setup is not runable from DOS. What can I do ?
