Very strange problem. screenshot included .. root and sorting

Ok now i got a problem which is causing allot of problems when running certain server required stuff.

One being..

Say i run something rather than just check the dir or located address it checks as "." and once i sort by name it sorts all the files and folders and usually it sorts folders thenf iles

That's XP Pro right ? I have seen that myself first hand and I don't recall how I got around it (damn), I will try few things on my laptop to reproduce that.

yes xp pro, and its only happening recently on this harddrive, advice is welcome and greatful!!!

Goto "Tools", "Folder Options". Click on the "View" tab. Click on "Reset All Folders". This should reset it for you.
