Reducing monitor image size

I have the XP Pro operating system and am using Adobe Premiere Pro editing program. My problem is that the Adobe program fills and over lapses the screen edge at the bottom, thus not allowing me to use the device control buttons. Regardless, if I use the minimize button or attempt to move the image upwards the over lap remains. I even tried to change settings in the monitor with out any success. I would appreciate your help. Thank you.
Bill

You want to do this: right click on the desktop, go to properties->settings (tab) and increase the "Screen Resolution." I would say, if you're doing graphic/video editing, to use a bare minimum of 1024x768, that will give you plenty of workspace in Adobe Apps.

Your information worked. I have contacted Microsoft and Adobe for this information to no avail. That is odd that they would not reply. Thank you and I appreciate your needed help.
