All my CD roms are not working all of a sudden

Hi All

All of a sudden both my CD-rom burners and my DVD burner are all showimg the yellow excamation point in my hardware manager. They were working fine yesterday and I have not installed anything since. When I uninstall them they reinstall without complaint but in the hardware manager it says the drivers installed OK but the device can not be found.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this

I had the same problem today...searched this forum but could not get any help...

So I did a system restore to a date I knew the drives where working (yesterday !) and BINGO back to normal.

Hope this helps a little....
