"show window contents while dragging" option doesn't stick

I like to have the window contents show while dragging, but whenever I log off or reboot, the option doesn't stick and I have to go back and change the setting again. Any way to fix this?

i just seen another post with the exact same problem, i was thinking it was a odd problem with software combinations, but two exact same problems pop up the same day, different machines. i start thinking new virus or varient. try a on-line scan to see if you are clean. if it is a new one your on-board may not catch it.

I've been having this problem ever since I got this computer at christmas. I will try a virus scan, though.

Just curious, do you have a Dell computer? With Dell Multimedia Experience? If so, you might want to look at this thread:
