I would call the software company. Sounds like a Matrix prob, not an XP prob. You should have free support from them.

Yes, but there are a few problems.
- The game works on my laptop. (Windows 98) and it doesnt on my computer (the game was designed for Windows XP)
- I went to the shop to change the game but they didn't agree
- there is nothing called "free support" in the country I live in (Poland)

Yeah, software stores NEVER exchange opened items, unless it's for the EXACT SAME item. It may be a problem with Windows Installer service. I would go to

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...DisplayLang=en

And download the newest version of windows installer (I know it says win 2000, but it will work for XP as well). After installing the update, reboot and try the install again. Please let us know if it works.

what if you try to run the game in the compatibility mode ? Windows XP allows you to change the mode / emulated environment for application installed, have you tried that ?

cheers

I'v got it!!!!!!

The problem was: "Norton Internet Security Professional 2004". I don't know why but when I uninstalled it the game installed itself without any errors...

Thanks, I'm really grateful for your help...
