Log In Error Message

Recently I started getting this error message when I log in to Windows XP Pro. I have a Toshiba Laptop.

Error: Could not Connect to BIOS Server

After this, the computer works normal except it is slower than ususal.
Can anybody help to fix this?

it's a know issue with toshiba laptops, solution is on that link.
