Outlook emails after upgrading

I was at my friends house, and he has 2 computers (and a laptop)...Anyways, his laptop had XP pro, one computer had win 2k on it and one computer had 98...he wanted me to install XP pro on all of them by upgrading. I said ok and did that...he goes to check outlook and outlook express on the used-to-be 2k computer...nothing shows up. He panics. Eventually i find the address book, the outlook emails and the outlook express emails. The same problem was with the used-to-be-98 machine except that there used to be no username on 98: I cant find the outlook email files, i cant find the outlook express email files and i cant find the address book...help?

Send a message via MSN to snowmonkey
Search for file with extension *.dbx and *.WAB

.WAB will be the addess book and .DBX will be all the messages in the O.E database, when you find where they are located,, then launch O.E and try ti export them.

here is sone help:
