Have I lost everything?!

Dear all,

I recently carried out some recommended tweaks on my version of Windows XP Pro, as I mainly use my computer for music recording.

I then re-started my machine and was prompted by a password dialog box. When i first installed XP Pro i presumbly turned off any password features and to be honest i cant even remember setting one.

Anyway........as recommended by someone i carried out a parallel installation which means i can now access all my files.

BUT........

Is there anyway I can reset my password in my original installation, or find it, or anything so i can access my other version that has all my drivers installed and all my programs set-up?

I know i have been a dufus........

Have you tried the dialog box without any password I mean just entering the ok button. Or can you give details of what you tweaked...

Thanks for your replies. I feel even more of a dufus now.....

All i needed to do was just press enter without entering a password and it let me into the system!
