Error: Out of Memory (-108)

Hi,

I use Windows XP Professional on a Pentium 4 with 768mb of RAM.

I have been working on a Quarkxpress document for a while and experienced some performance problems when it grew bigger.
Eventually the file reached a size of 192 MB (it contains many high resolution pictures).
When I tried to load it in Quarkxpress yesterday I got the error message: 'Out of memory (-108)".
I rebooted my machine but got the same error again when trying.

Does anyone know a solution for this problem ?

Thanks !

Nicola.

The article does relate to Mac, but the error message is the same. Did you follow the directions to increase Application memory like the article suggests?

In the article it says I should do the following:

'Find the QuarkXPress application icon in the QuarkXPress folder and click it once to select it.

Choose File ?¨ Get Info ?¨ Memory to display the Info dialog box with the Memory Area selected. (You can also choose Memory from the Show pop-up menu in the Info dialog box.)'

I tried to understand this but I need help.
What is 'the QuarkXPress application icon in the QuarkXPress folder' and how can I 'Choose File ?¨ Get Info ?¨ Memory to display the Info dialog box....'.

Never used it but all it should mean is to start the program normally (without opening a document) and clicking "Info" on the "File" menu.
