Simple Question

My friends cousin's computer has a bios error message. It will not boot the OS system.

How do you solve this issue?

Take out all the parts and assemble it back?

What is the error message? also you can reset the Bios easy enough to fix this, you can clear the cmos, check with the manuel for the motherboard to see were cmos is on the board, all you do is move the jumper from pin 1 and 2 over to pin 2 and 3 then move it back..

If you do not want to do this then just take out the battery from the motherboard leave it out for about 1 to 2 hours then place it back this will reset the bios to default settings, hopefully aslong as your friend has not done a bad flash to the bois everything will be fine..

scouse has this well in hand, just want to mention, unplug the power cord when you clear the cmos, or remove the battery.
