i keep on getting a file called spider.sav its always in my documents. how could i get rid of it once and for all. i ran a virus scanner and a spyware scanner and came up with nothing.. any suggestions????

Spider.sav is a saved game from Spider Solitaire. If you can't delete the file, you can probably get rid of it by opening Spider Solitaire and going to Game > Open Last Saved Game. Either finish the game or quit.

be glad ESALADUANE answered this post first, i would have told you it was a file created by the worlds most evil spyware, and there was no known cure, not even a format would stop it.....just kidding

No way, hotbar is WAY worse. You can get rid of bonzi buddy easily, but hotbar re-installs itself at startup, and you have to manually kill the exxplorer.exe process, run a cmd prompt and delete all hotbar-related files to get rid of it. That thing SUCKS.

yea, hotbar is worse, but i remember back about 2 years ago when i had to deal with a couple hundred computers with bonzi, spyware removal tools were around but not like they are now. seemed like everyone got bonzi, several of them when he would speak it was the most vulger things you could imagine. sounded like he learned to talk at yahoo voice chat. he was cutting edge spyware in his day, now just something spybot and adaware kill like a cookie.
