Win XP SP1 Networking Problems?

Hi Experts,

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 laptop and installed SP1 on it after a long debate on installing it or not.

Well, got it in now and the only way I can connect to my wireless
router or cable modem is by the wireless card. The RJ45 on the laptop itself can't get any IP address.

So I bought last week a Uniden PCMCIA 10/100 Ethernet card to fix the problem, but kepp having the same problem with this too.

Uninstalled IPv6, that was suggested bu Uniden tech support,
no help. Still on IP addresses from any hard wired ports.

All of the recognize the network connection to be enabled, that's just about it.

Help, HELP!
