A friend running XP Pro has got an application called netlogin32.exe trying to access the internet.

Has anyone come accross this at all and do you know of any cure.

I have searched the net but only one site has got a Google listing and that wants money up front to see the writeup.

netlogin32.exe could be an alias for or a component of an otherwise known virus/trojan/spyware. I would suggest running several free on-line virus scans to see if one of them will come up with a more familar name. At that point, you can find removal instructions or a simple removal tool.
