My XP was working find until one day when I must deleted something I don't know what it was. It started to behave funny.
This how it behaves.

After logging in and all the icon appears on the screen a new window appears on the screen asking me whether I want to run as (the desktop s/w I assume) under the current/adminstration account with full private protection from virus protection or another user with the relevant password.

Worst still after signing/answering the window and every time I try to access an application the same window appears asking the same question. How can I stop this window appearing? Help

I solve my problem by using system restore.

The first time I used system restore it did not work becasue it was not roll back far enough, the 2nd time it worked as I rolled it back by more than 1 month..
