Windows XP - Filenames are different colours

Hi,

This isn't so much of a problem, it's more of an annoyance!

On my computer at work, which is running Windows XP (Professional), when I open my documents window, some of my filenames are in blue and some are in black.

Has this happened to anyone else and if so, can you tell me why this is? It's just a bit annoying really when you don't know why it's like that!

The files listed in blue are normally encrypted or compressed files. You can stop them from showing in colour by;
1. Open Windows Explorer then click Folder Options on the Tools menu.
2. Click the View tab.
3. Uncheck show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color box and then click OK.
