how did this happen?

very recently I just notice that when I do a ctrl, alt, delete, the box that appears is not the same as it was before. It so different that the tabs at the top of the box are gone so that I can't even get to the tab that allows me to "end programs" and can't close out the box without going down to the system tray and "right click close." very weird. I can't figure out why. if any one has some insight it would be greatly appreciated. I have a screen shot of what it looks like but I can't figure out how to get it on the thread. THanks

Somehow Task Manager just got changed to "small footprint" mode. To restore the tabs and menus, double click anywhere on the Task Manager's window border....sides or bottom, makes no difference.
