Exclamation Corrupted zip error...

I don't know what happened. Since yesterday,I been getting the

"the compressed(zipped) folder is invalid or corrupted" error.

All zip files I downloaded are having this problem even those that worked fine. All zip files in my entire drive is corrupted. Even files not downloaded with internet explorer is corrupted. How do I fix this?

thnx but it doesn't work, thats the first thing I tried when I get the error.

The error still appear although it said its fixed. Its properbly some settings which means the zip files are fine, they aren't corrupted but I don't know what settings they are, could be registry setthings but I don't know what to change. Any ideas?

Thnx

Download winzip (www.winzip.com) and see if you can open the zip files with that. There may be a problem with the built-in windows zip program.

I didn't download winzip but...I tried winRAR and it worked fine,so the problem is with my built-in zip compression program since I can't even zip a file. How can I fix this problem?

Forget about the built-in zip. Third party zip programs offer way more features and reliability. Look at these free ones; Izarc, 7zip, zipgenius, bigspeedzipper, and iceows to name a few.
