Gimp Mode in XP

How do you turn off the accessability options in XP? I think with my finger on the shift key and am furious that it keeps trying to turn this feature on. Tried Usenet... NO help from the MS *experts*. Anyone?

try going to control panel, acceessability options and unchecking everything. keyboard, sound etc.
