Very puzzling?

Ok this one just blows my mind, and i repair and build pcs for a living.

Whenever i boot the loading bar for xp just stops for 10-30 seconds, this has only done this to me on xp and has done it on 4 different systems and 1 even with raid0

is this the smae copy of xp installed on the 4 computers you mention? if it is, did you download it? if you did from p2p programs you could have got a corrupt copy. they pass around so many viruses, even though their scanners remove the infection and heal it damage gets done.file transfer can have problems too.

XP loads a lot of services on boot, many of them unneeded by most users. Try turning off all the unnecessary services to see if the boot times improve.

I like the guide on Black Viper's site, using the settings in the "Safe" column.

since you are in PC repair business you shold have lots spare parts I assume !?! , have you thought of replacing the memory with another stick, how about Viedo card ? I how how frustrating it can be, cuase I'm working on a win2k Issue right now

Everything is new, except the graphics card its a Geforce3 TI500
yeah ive tried EVERYTHING it still does it ive got all my shit backed up and im deleting my raid array and completely reformating
