any one have any ideas what this is?? i can install things, i keep getting this error an error occured while launching the setup the remote procedure call failed, (happens also when i copy files from the cd to te HD and try to install from there, so its not just cd rom problem i take it)

i got really mad wehn i got tht error for UT 2003

oh yes, also, my cd rom, alot of the time, i put in a cd, and it spinns aalloooottt and makes the comp freeze so i cant do any thing, i press the eject button and it un freezes,

Your cd drive is possibly a duffer.
