hi chaps,i've accidentaly deleted a file called.....C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Search.vbs....its absolutely knackered my pc.what is the best course of action?.......lee

Dude, you got to take your time and explaine your situation, don't expact anyone to diagnos you pc by only you saying" its absolutely knackered my pc" ,, what has gone wrong after you delete it ? Was that a VB script for Active directory or you don't know ?

yeh,it was a script file mate.i can't even go back to system restore.that error message keeps coming on the computer screen at start up.....C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\Search.vbs.i know i deleted it last night trying to get rid of norton antivirus.now when i open some folders the folder is blank,as system restore is.ant help appreciated...lee
