Disabled 'Wireless Network Connection' Advanced button.

PC setup
Dell Latitude laptop running Windows XP Pro SP1.
Dell TrueMobile 1150 Series Mini PCI Card

I'm attempting to connect my laptop to my wireless network at home.... but the 'Wireless Networking Conncection' (in the System tray) isn't pickig up the signal.
I want to manually configure the connection but the 'Advanced' button on the 'Wireless Networking Connection' dialog box is greyed out (I am an Administrator on the PC) and so I am unable to access the required options.
Can anybody offer any advice on how to enable this 'Advanced' button.
Any suggestions much appreciated
Cheers Des-Celts
